C5 Pitot Cover Installer

One of the steps in protecting a C-5M Super Galaxy after flight is installing covers over it's external pitot tubes. However, there is one major roadblock due to the size of the aircraft- these tubes are several stories off the ground. Traditionally a large cumbersome metal stand is used to allow maintainers to reach these tubes, but a Dover Airmen had a better idea. This led to the development of an installing mechanism mounted on a long pole that allowed this task to be completed from the ground with minimal equipment, which is small enough to travel on the aircraft. Bedrock enabled saving countless manhours, resources, and ensuring these covers can be installed in any location, protecting this multi-million dollar asset.
